Home and School

St. Patrick Home & School Association is an organization made up of parents and children attending St. Patrick School. The Association has two primary purposes:

  1. The first is to facilitate communication between the school parents, other interested parishioners, administrators and faculty of the school.  Communication is provided in the form of four meetings during the school year: September, October, January and April. We would like one parent to attend each of these meetings.
  2. The second purpose is to provide support for the school’s education programs. The support comes from the members in the way of time and money. Time can be given by volunteering in the classroom, library, and office and through our fundraisers (such as selling Scrip after Mass, assisting at the annual Quilt Social, working during Market Day events, etc.).

This financial support provides the school with additional funds not included in the school’s budget. These funds are typically used to buy textbooks and educational resources for the teachers. The Association obtains its funds through the support of its members – the parents.
